The club have issued a statement regarding the match-fixing rumours that circulated prior to City's final Premier League game, against Glenavon, which led a number of bookmakers to suspend betting on the match.

The statement from the club:

“Armagh City FC have written to the Irish FA stating we would welcome
any investigation into this matter which they would deem to be
appropriate.

We believe that the good name of Armagh City FC, the Carnegie Premier
League and the Irish FA are all being damaged by these allegations.

Armagh City FC will cooperate fully with any investigation”
