Support needed for Youth fundraising

The following letter has been circulated to all parents/guardians of youth team members. Please support this initiative and the ‘Night at the Races’ in the club house on March 12th.

Let me take this opportunity to thank you for supporting Armagh City FC by
sending your Child to train and play with Armagh City Youth FC. By doing this
you ensure the success of the club by having your child make up part of a
team, whether it be from Mini Soccer through to Senior level. It is every child’s
dream to be able to play not only for their own age group but to eventually
gain a place on the 1st Team squad.
The committee at Armagh City FC are committed to training today’s youth
through the age groups and hopefully give them the opportunity to gain that
place on the 1st Team.
Like all organisations running costs are now higher than the income the Club
can generate and we are always looking at new ways to generate new funds
to pay these ever growing costs. We have teamed up with ALL- TEX Recyclers
who can help us raise some extra funds through unwanted clothes, full details
on the reverse of this page. You can continue to help us by supporting this and
giving in your old unwanted clothes, shoes, handbags etc.
All-Tec Recyclers is one of the largest employers in Ireland and leading buyer,
processor and worldwide exporter of used clothing, and paired shoes, their
private sector company focuses on the re-use of old clothes and has been in
operation for over 13 years.
If you are interested and have the items listed that you wish to donate then
please contact one of the committee members or your child’s Team Manager
for details of when and where to drop the items.
We are also running a ‘Night at the Races’ in the Club house on the 12th March.
If each family could sponsor a horse for £5, then this would also help to cover
some of our costs. Again contact your child’s Team Manager to get details on
how to sponsor a horse.
